Teads' UK managing director Justin Taylor has left the global ad platform to launch a performance marketing agency in the UK.
Taylor has set up IgniteStack with Thomas Bowie, former chief marketing officer at SideKit. The aim of the agency is to increase AI discovery for brands, automate execution and connect performance marketing across digital channels for media teams.
Taylor led Teads in the UK for almost 11 years from 2015, after working agency-side, including more than seven years as managing director of MEC Digital, which was part of WPP. Before that, he was head of digital at OMD.
“As AI transforms how consumers discover and make decisions, marketing performance can no longer rely on disconnected tools and manual processes,” he said. “IgniteStack helps UK marketers create a unified system to improve AI visibility, automate marketing execution and optimise performance at scale.”
Bowie has spent the past six months as chief marketing officer at SideKit, a back-end platform for mobile apps, after launching his own digital agency in 2019, VisionEight. He started his career at Tiger Marketing in 2019 before moving on to Mintel as email marketing and automation executive.
IgniteStack will help marketers build systems that “compound performance” over time, according to Bowie. “IgniteStack enables marketing and media teams to stay ahead of AI-driven change and simply not react to it,” he said.
